Wilson Fund

& UNRESTRICTED GIVING

Wilson seeks $7.5 million to help support the institution’s annual fund and unrestricted giving support.

The Wilson Fund is one of the most important funds of the College. While the campaign will seek to raise additional dollars to support our focus areas, it is mission critical for the financial health of the College, that donors continue to support the Wilson Fund on an annual basis.

The Wilson Fund and unrestricted giving are the funding sources that the College depends on to maintain its financial equilibrium.

When unexpected expenses arise or funding shortfalls occur within the operational budget, unrestricted giving is depended on to fill those gaps. It also allows the College to direct donor gifts to where they are needed most, care for needs as they occur, and ultimately assist the College with keeping the overall cost to attend Wilson affordable and competitive with regional state institutions.

This is a critical time in higher education as the number of 18 year olds continues to decline. Wilson needs support now more than ever to ensure that we can keep education affordable for our students, that we can retain and recruit the very best faculty and staff, and that we can grow the number of programs that we offer and have many more students benefit from A Wilson education.
